From the beginning

My first few months attending high school in Utah seemed as if it was unreal. I had absolutely NO FRIENDS , so i would eat in my science teachers class. (lame I know). Although one of my best friends boyfriend Leka, attended the same school and we kicked it back in Hawai'i, I would still eat in my science class. That also means I went to basketball games on my own because I could careless what people had thought.Most of the times Leka would sit by me but I wouldn't talk to him so he would just leave me anyway. The more I went to the games the more I met people, especially Silongo Samani. (you might wanna remember that name). Then Until my nephew Ha'i decided to move in with my family and I. Being it his senior year and my junior year we decided to start making friends and start back at the bottom. Of course as some people know my nephew, he made the friends and I just joined along as ALWAYS! His first friend was Tevita Wolfgramm, who also became my best friend. After a few weeks into second semester of school Vita, Ha'i and I would be ditching school going to eat. Yes I know its not the perfect decision, but when you know how to get around things you just go with it! Kicking it with Vita and Ha'i was so fun only cause we would laugh and not care about the non important things (at times school became in that category).

About a week before Sadie Hawkins, Silongo texted me saying "Hey lia its silongo. I got your number from Ha'i". My first though was okay first of all it's Leah and second why is he texting me. We've only talked a few times (meaning hi how are you? okay bye!). But then the next morning I found myself texting him back. Although we've only been texting for about 2 hrs. I found myself asking him to Sadie Hawkins with out thinking. I would have to say Sadie Hawkins made it as one of those "night to remember". After Sadie Hawkins things started to change. With in a few days we were invited to a BBQ that his brother had made. Although we weren't dating we would text all day and all night, then calling each other right before we went to sleep to say good night. On March 25, 2009 is when we offiicially started to date.

Since then Tevita Wolfgramm is serving a full time mission in Panama, Ha'i is in Hawai'i and Silongo Samani is preparing to leave on his mission to Hawai'i. He reports on July 13.

Being with Silongo for two years has been a life changing experience and will be in the eternities!

Yes I'm joining my best friend Elizabeth Kapu on waiting for our missionary! Well not our missionary but shes waiting for hers and ill be waiting for mines. You know what I mean......Until next time!
