Watching over him
This lucky man in the middle is my father, Moses Palakiko Bergau and he is 79, although I do tell people he's 80. These blessed girls are his daughters missing 4 other children. Me being the youngest in the family is sort of my responsibility to watch over him and to make sure he LISTENS to my mother. Who ever knows him, knows that he refuses to listen to ANYONE! If you tell him that walking with out his cane is bad for him, his response would be " I need to exercise my knee". It is true about his knee, but not when it still hurts with the cane. Anyway on to my point. Today while my mom and I went shopping to get food for a friends fundraiser my superman father went walking around the block with out his cane. By the time my mom and I got back home, he still didn't reach home. So my hint began. It wasn't very long because he was right around the corner, but when I saw him, I saw the pain on his face that came from his knees. It made me want to cry my eyes out because I know his time is coming soon. But for now I just enjoy the time I have with my Superman! Tomorrow he'll be cleaning two yards and he won't listen to me if I tell him to wait for me to finish work. He keeps saying I finish too late, but I finish at lunch time. Oh well I guess it's his FREE-TIME away from the bossy, caring women that he has in his life! I am truly grateful for my father and everything that he has done in my life and I will continue to be grateful for him as the years come! Until his time comes I'll be watching over him!
