For starters I've been planning this trip since December and the only person that knew was one of my older sisters. Then word got to my niece Thea, she wasn't the one graduating. Eventually other people found out, EXCEPT FOR TRENNA! Well...that's another blog LOL!
having that feeling to be home brought me to tears, because I finally realized what I had, but I had to realize it when I moved to Utah. Being able to see green ALL around, and then being able to see the beautiful ocean put that smile on my face. Although I had only stayed for about a week and a half, I to to see many friends and family and of course got to go to the beach before I came back to Utah. During my stay I got to eat Hawaiian food (which was what I always craved), be with my family, watch the night show, surf, stand up surf paddle, meet my grand babies and my favorite part was having a heart to heart moment with my older sister.
Since the whole point of me going to Hawai'i was to surprise Trenna Leiataua, I'll write about her and not of my adventures. As I walked into the Canyon Center of BYU-Hawai'i, my eyes began to fill with tears because my monkey niece was growing up faster then I had planned. As there ceremony went on and as they called "Trenna Leiataua" those tears began to fall. YES I KNOW IM EMOTIONAL, but I haven't seen this girl since December lol. I can still remember those days when we (Tirza her older sister, Shawntei our other sister and myself) didn't let her hand out with us. Even as the years grew on we still wouldn't let her in lol. I know I said this a million times on facebook, but I'm truly proud of her. I'm proud of all the decisions shes made in her life, the good and the bad, because with out it, she wouldn't have been the same person she is today. Thank you for sharing your example with the family! Continue to shine and focus on the important things! I love you monkey!
