It's almost time

Have you ever wondered what's going to happen next? Whether it be in an hour, a week from now, a month or even a year from now? Well that's the question that I've been asking, except it was "when will he ask?" Perry and I have been dating for about a year or so when we really started to talk about marriage. The only question that I can remember asking myself was, "when will he ask?" I would talk about it with my friends almost every single day, until this year came around. I was positive that I would get asked, but I just never knew when.

Our night Aug. 24, 2013
A week before my birthday, he started to ask what I wanted for my birthday. As simple as I made it, I told him "Nothing. Just so long as I get to spend it with you and the family." On August 24th, 2013, is when I finally got asked the question. That night two of my best friends took me out for a birthday dinner. We ate, we laughed, until they asked me if I wanted to go to the chapel to watch some missionary movies. To me this was shocking, so shocking to the points where I said yes.
We walked in to the gym of the chapel, to people singing and saying opening prayer. For the first few minutes, they showed some video's of missionary work, but in my head all I could think was really? I know I know, but all I thought about was my birthday and that I wanted to go bowling (which never happened haha).
After the missionary video's, Roy stood up and said  "We have one more video to show." Again my thoughts were "Really?" I'm pretty sure you could see it on my face, but I didn't care. The video first started off as if it were really a movie, but then it started off with my birthday and right there, my heart dropped. This was my engagement video that my more then caring fiancé made for me. Yes, finally the question came and I said YES!
It's crazy just to think that in two months from yesterday I'll be married for time and ALL eternity to my best friend! Many things have changed and will change with in a small period of time. My sister will be returning home from serving a full time mission, I'll be an aunty of 20 or so nieces and nephews, a grand aunty of about 30 grand nieces and nephews. I can't complain of how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family. It's almost that time though that I get to start my own little family with my best friend!
